ANTELOPE VALLEY PARATRANSIT YARD

The Antelope Valley Paratransit Operations and Maintenance Facility is a 20,000 sf transportation operations and maintenance facility on a 3.39-acre site in the Antelope Valley in the City of Lancaster providing ADA paratransit transportation service for Los Angeles County. 

 

The facility is a mixed occupancy single-story building of approximately 20,312 sf in the 1st phase and 26,850 sf full buildout. The site will include a secured parking for staff and visitors as well as a secure parking area for fleet vehicles. The area includes a circulation aisle with covered canopy stalls inclusive of EV charging and infrastructure for its electric fleet.

 

The landscape design of the facility will integrate with the building architecture to establish one cohesive site identity. The landscape, hardscape and site furnishings are to be resilient, effective, and attractive, while balancing sustainability principles, maintenance requirements, and budget-compliance.
